Xero was established in 2006 in New Zealand and has just passed one million worldwide subscribers. It is a cloud-based accounting system designed for small business users while also providing all the tools necessary for their accountants and business advisors.

Due to its web-based nature, Xero can be accessed from any online device and has Android and iOS apps. There are three service plans available with all plans allowing unlimited users with differing levels of permissions.

Bank transactions can be automatically imported via a bank feed directly from the businesses’ online banking while online payment of bills helps spending to be tracked and improves relationships with vendors and customers.
